Donate

If you wish to support my programming, anything you can do would be appreciated.

There are four ways to do this.

First, you can go to the plugin pages on WordPress.org and click on a few stars for the plugin rating, and check off the “it works” information. You might, if so moved, say a few nice words under reviews.

Second, you can link to this website somewhere on your blog. The incoming links help with Google searches.

Third, If you feel that you’d like to encourage me, you could buy one of my books. I write short stories for fun and I have sold about 50 stories to various magazines. The books are cheap and very interesting.

You can also donate a few dollars. Cash is a little short right now, so my wife convinced me to go the low road and ask for money. There are three levels of donations. First, at $2.50 you can support me. I like this level because it does not put any stress on you. I think everyone can afford this without any pain. Second, for those who think they owe a little more, I have a $9.99 level. This is for those who have money to burn and drive expensive sports cars. Last, there is the $29.99 level. I don’t expect anyone to use this level, but there are possibly a few sysops with a company credit card, and an unlimited budget who might sympathize with a fellow coder and click this button.

You can pay using PayPal. All you need is a credit card. There is no PayPal account required. Just click and follow the instructions. You can request a refund and I will gladly comply. I have applied to other payment services and may add new methods for those, especially in Europe, who have problems using PayPal.

Level 1) $2.50

Level 2) $9.99

Level 3) $29.99

For those of you out there that are a crazy as I am, I am offering the ability to make a donation bitcoins. I love the idea of bitcoins, but have, as yet, not found a use for them. If I had some, I would use them to donate to websites like mine.
Donate Bitcoins
If you sign up for coinbase using this link, I get $5 when you buy some bitcoins.

I would like to thank you for your support. The very best way to support me is to report all bugs, ask for enhancements, send me your ideas, and drop me a line of encouragement. I will not get rich writing plugins, so you can help me by adding to the fun of coding. I have spent the last 40 years writing programs. I started in 1969 writing FORTRAN on an old IBM 1400, and I have learned every cool language that has appeared since. Programming has given me a good life and I would rather write code than almost anything.

Thanks,

Keith P. Graham

    Thanks!
But can you change link anchor from Blogroll: instead “Super Website Builders” please type “SuperbWebsiteBuilders.com” – it would be more safer.

  2. Keith says:

I have done it. On Blogseye.com scroll down to blogroll and you’ll see that you are there. Only PR3 right now. Used to be PR4, but I haven’t added any new content for a few months.

  3. Howard says:

    Hello,
can you tell me, please – if I donate your work, will you show me as a sponsor of your projects on your website?

  4. Squareeye says:

    Hello!
I can no longer see any Spammer history with the new update. How can I see this?
I think it is quite interesting to check periodically.

  5. Keith says:

I am looking forward to my first bitcoins. I’ve been reading about them and I would like to own a few bit-cents.

I have considered a pro version, and there is even a “pro” section of the code that I started writing. I never did anything about it because it does not seem egalitarian, and that is not like me. I don’t do this for money. I started because I was tired of deleting all the comment spam and the expanded because I was getting registration spam. Most of the program is stuff I wrote for myself. I decided to share, and was surprised at how popular it turned out to be.

$20 is huge, at least for me, and I thank you. I amazed the people hit the paypal button, even if it is only .01% of my users. It is deeply appreciated because it is a rare and generous thing.

    Thank you,

    Keith

  6. Everything seems to be working great, thank you. Have your security blanket working on a few sites so was taking the opportunity to donate a few Bitcoins, ( ha! no, sorry not familiar with them) how about PayPal. I figure $20 puts me under the “sysops level” god forbid. I do not have lots of cash but I don’t work for free and do not expect others to either. Have you considered a pro version?
Would love to be able to block out complete countries as those above have indicated. Is this a feature you could add?
How can I add your Widget to a separate page with other company’s plugin links.

  7. Pam Blizzard says:

Thank you so much for this plugin. It’s reduced stress and anxiety caused by way too many registrations. Kudos!

  8. Keith says:

In addition, I get Russia, Vietnam, and, strangely, Canada.

  9. Sam Toms says:

I have been hammered by spammers on a web build. I love you. It is working like a dream, and you can see who has been caught. Its very satisfying to watch them get blocked. Little chinese f***s (my google analytics shows most if not all my hacks are from china).

  10. Keith says:

    Use .cn

It works if you use just cn, but it is best to do it right. This may not work in the current release, you will have to download and install the next version from “Beta Test” on this site.

    Keith

  11. Squareeye says:

How should I write if I want to block a whole country such as China and Russia. Should it stand .cn
    or ‘. ‘ e.g.cn?

  12. Noriel says:

    Keith,

Thank you so much for this plugin! This is a must for every wordpress site. I will donate soon when I make money on my site 🙂 . May God bless you more and more!!!

Keith, I downloaded your plugin to one of 4 blog sites a few weeks ago to test it. That site has received NOT 1 bit of spam since, even though it normally received DAILY spam. I’m adding it to my other sites and sending you a donation.

One suggestion: Add a donation option that allows donors to choose their amount. I like $20.

Thanks a million for your helpful genius!

I have a 4images gallery that I use to house images/avs for a chat program I participate in. I am constantly having the bots register in the 4images gallery program. This plug-in sounds like what I need. Will it work with anything other than Word Press? If not, could it be altered to work with 4 images? Or do you know of anything that will work for this program. The bots are registering at a rate of 50-150 a day and sometimes leave these long comments about stuff totally unrelated to my site. Thanks for any suggestions you have!

  18. Raquel says:

I just want to thank you for the No Right Click Images plugin, it’s great and very practical. I’m installing Stop Spammers now, just have to try it after reading the comments. I sent you a little donation.

  19. Keith says:

    You are very very welcome.

  20. Excelent plugin, which helped me in fixing 404 Page not found issue.
I think saying thanks to some one who helped me @ right time worth more than dollars.

    Thanks 🙂

  21. Keith says:

Thanks – Another beer for me. I will enjoy it.

  22. Jane Peters says:

Thank you for this great plugin, Keith. Nothing gets to Aksimet anymore, and I have stopped half of Poland from registering on my site. I sent you a little thank you.

  23. Keith says:

The version on the Beta Test page is what I am using on my sites. It works well. On the settings page Spammer History, you can clear the cache. This keeps the spammers down a little.

    Keith

  24. Michael says:

We’re currently using your plugin but it’s not stopping all of the spammers. About 80% of the attempts are getting through. Do you have a update coming out soon?

  25. Keith says:

    Thank You TM.

To answer your question, there are a great many people out there who value their own greedy desires over the needs of others. I assume that their parents did not raise them with the simple values of prior generations.

    Keith

  26. TM says:

I would like to thank you for this outstanding plug-in. I am not a programmer, instead I am I simple blog-writer. My blog was spammed after years of almost no spam (in a sudden) with a tremendous amount of spam. Other plug-ins failed. Yours works gordeous. This is something I would like to honor. Please keep this plug-in uptodate. Why is the internet-world outside sometimes so bad? A childish question – I know. Thanks a lot.

  27. Tom Fontana says:

Thanks for a great plugin, I use it alongside WP-reCAPTCHA, it’s perfectly compatible. On the registration form, I also have 2 extra registration tests related to my site, one is an input field and the other a checkbox type of test.
This combo defeats 99.99% of spam, very few get through.
Leaving a small donation, thanks again!

  28. Meg says:

Thank you for your wonderful, easy to use and easy to understand plugin. This is my first attempt at blogging and I feel protected from Spam. Thank you for sharing your knowledge in an effective tool.

  31. This could not be more precious to me. I think I am about to enter the point where all plug-in and applications designers will finally get paid. In the meantime, I love you and highly encourage you to keep going and keep up with the latest tactics! THANK YOU Keith!

  32. John says:

I use Stop Spammers on my WordPress blog but I didn’t know you wrote it. I really like it, I think it’s easy to understand and it works really well.

    Thanks!

  33. Keith says:

I have not received anything from you.

    Cleantalk is at: https://wordpress.org/plugins/cleantalk-spam-protect/

  34. Squareeye says:

OK, this is not for Clean Talk? Is there a support forum for Clean Talk?
I have donated money for something else? 🙂

  35. Keith says:

    I don’t know about cleantalk.

  36. Squareeye says:

CleanTalk works perfect but I have seen that Clean Talk approve comments without my permission. How can I stop it? I want to check all comments before before publishing.

  37. Marc says:

Had to re-build my portfolio, and changed the whole link structure I had. Your “Permalink Finder” plugin worked as a charm. Thank you so much for creating it and making it available for free.

    Hi Keith,

thanks so much for your great plugin. I´ve installed it without any problems and it immediately stopped the nightmare of spamming emails and comments on my webshop. I´m so thankful for your effort and went for the level 3 donation. Please keep it up, your work REALLY helps so much!

    Best regards from Berlin,
    Martin

  41. Keith says:

Thanks – It is much appreciated.

  42. John Hoyle says:

I agree with the comments above. I’ve done a couple of controversial websites that get attacked almost as soon as they go live. Until I tried your plugin it was a constant battle. A couple of other anti-spam plugins just caused more troubles and have made my life miserable. Your Stop Spammers is extremely user friendly, easy to connect up with the spam registries, and above all WORKS!!! I’m sending you a couple of bucks to show my appreciation. Keep up the excellent work!

    John

  43. Keith says:

    Thank you,

Being unemployed for the last couple of months, the occasional magical appearance of something in my PayPal account has kept up my spirits.

    I appreciate it.

    Keith

  44. Dave says:

Thanks for the effort you have put in. Without people like you, what would we do? I have donated. All the best.

  45. djbaxter says:

Just found and installed your plugin Permalink Finder. Worked perfectly right out of the box. Great job – nice to find something that works as advertised. 🙂

  46. Keith says:

I had to look that one up.

    Thanks,

I don’t expect anyone to contribute, and therefore I am always amazed and gratified when someone actually does.

    Keith

  47. Ed Gelb says:

    Keith,
Just a small donation and tribute to your excellent StopSpammers program. Us Epiculturists have to stick together. Please keep up your great work.

    Ed

  48. Keith says:

A good review is just as good as a donation. Please don’t feel obligated to click the button. I wrote these plugins for myself and I enjoyed doing it.

    Thanks for the kind words.

    Keith

  49. Cory says:

    Hello,

I just wanted to write and thank you for your Stop Spammer WordPress plugin. I have tried everything to stop the constant attacks with no luck…until now. The day I loaded Stop Spammers it stopped! I am in your debt! I will be donating to your cause and writing an act kind blog about you in the near future.

Thanks again and keep up the great work
