This is Keith Graham’s PHP projects blog. Sometimes you’ll arrive here to find it is broken when I am testing. I blog regularly about things I am working on.

The affiliates will probably not set a cookie unless they get a legitimate click-through. You can put a bit of javascript to automatically click using ajax or a hidden iframe, but the affiliate might not like that since it is against TOS for most of them.

    Hey Keith,

I use your wordpress plugin to send people to affiliate sales pages which in turn places cookies that are linked to my affiliate account.

Now I want to send to an optin form/squeeze page but still set my affiliate cookies. I’m sure it isn’t possible with the basic Exit Screen plugin but do you have ANY suggestions for me on this?

    Thanks ahead of time,
    AK

    Hey Dude,

I like this Plugin (WP Plugin – Youtube Poster)… You think its possible to transfer the tags of Youtube to WordPress, too? Would be a nice Feature for me… I saw it with another Plugin, but other things dont work there…

    Happy about an answer…

    Cheers

    Hmmm,

I don’t know where that is coming from. I have to look at the code. If I find anything I’ll release a new version.

Is there a way to fix the Recent Google Searches plugin so it doesn’t diplay long strings that extend the width of my pages to what seem like infinity?

    Hello,
Sorry to use this way but i did not find any contact page.
I use your plugin Recent “Google Searches Widget” and i can’t find where this plugin stores the searches because i need to delete some of them.
Also, is there any way to block some searches wich contain words like “porn” and similar?
    Thank you in advance!

  8. Keith says:

All the code is in the widget. right now. I will add to my “to do” list to make a shortcode for it and at the same time create a function that can be used in custom themes.

Hi Keith do you have any instructions how to manually install Recent Google Searches Widget on a custom themed blogs? You know if I want to call at the bottom of my blog as a function just like any other plugin out there…

Hate widgets I made it active via widgets and I didn’t like the outcome so was wondering how to call it.

    Thanks

I have done it, but it is time consuming. A book can take a long time to physically scan and then the OCR is not an exact science so it takes many hours to copyedit the book. You would be taking about 20 to 40 hours of work. For me that is as much as $2,000 a book.
You need to find an intern who works for minimum wage.

I have a backlist of books I own the rights to, but these are not in word files; I have only the printed books. Do you scan books to make them into eBooks. Can you advise the best route to go to do this? Many thanks.

Will do. I appreciate it. Thanks!

I did some work, but this is quite a bit of stuff. I have to make a separate able for subscriptions because there could be hundreds and I have to have fun with the events. I can’t mail more than a few subscriptions each time because PHP will time out on most hosts. I have to make a function that does a few, and then reschedules itself, does a few, etc.

This is proving to be quite a bit of work managing all of this. I thought that I had most of it done. Look for it some time next week. (I won’t be able to work on it this weekend.)

  14. Keith says:

It is not yet working – Maybe tomorrow I can get a basic version working.

  15. David Park says:

Actually, that’s exactly what I was interested in. Would you mind letting me know how you accomplished it? Many thanks.

I started work on a program that will send a formatted RSS feed to a kindle address on a schedule. I am not sure if it will be a wordpress plugin or not.

  17. David Park says:

    Hi Keith,
Nice work on your Kindle-This widget.
Is there a way to automate the widget to send me the post at a certain time everyday?

    Thanks,
    David
