Buy The Book

You’ve read my Blog. You’ve learned how to play Harmonica. You’ve enjoyed my adventures in Beekeeping. You’ve downloaded my code. You’ve learned how to write Science Fiction.

Now it’s payback time.

I would really like it if you supported all of my efforts by buying one of my books. I have written a Science Fiction book called Error Message Eyes: A Programmer’s Guide to the Digital Soul. I have s kindle versions of my books and some short stories starting at 99¢. I even have a book in paperback and Kindle on how to play the Harmonica.

I’m not asking much.  The Kindle versions start at 99¢, as do the short stories on SmashWords.com. The paperback costs less than $10, even with shipping. Many plugin authors ask for donations. I ask that you buy an inexpensive book, so you actually get something for your donation.

Why buy a book instead of sending cash? First, you get something worthwhile for your money. Second, I gain about 30% of the price that you pay. Third, my rating goes up at Amazon so I get more sales. One 99¢ purchase might result in several sales for me. For 99¢ you help me and get something in return.

Please click on the links below and order a book. When you are done, please go onto Amazon and tell everyone how much you liked what you read.

Error Message Eyes: a Programmer’s Guide to the Digital Soul (paperback)  – 15 Science Fiction stories of Computers, Robots, Programs and Algorithms

Playing “Help-Me” In the Style of Sonny Boy Williamson II: A step by step, note for note analysis of some of Sonny Boy’s Signature Riffs (Paperback)

Frogs in Aspic – 16 Strange tales by by Keith P. Graham. Weird stories of Ghosts, Souls, Love and the Psyche.

Kindle (Amazon – may be blocked by adblock)
The following short stories are on Smashwords and can be read on your PC and almost any book readers. They only cost 99¢.

I’ve added the hard links to Amazon for those with adblock. I also added the link “Frogs in Aspic” – A newer and (I think) better book of some of my stories that cannot be classified easily other than calling them strange tales. I wrote them attempting to imitate the style of early Ray Bradbury, and a few might even come close.

    Sorry,

They are being blocked by adblock. The links are to the Amazon affiliate program (I make 12¢ when you click through). I will add the non affiliate links.

Hey, Keith! It would be sooo much easier if you put up the links to your books on this page. I mean, the real books, on Amazon or whatever. I do not seem to be able to find them…

Your stop spammer plugin has been a life saver! I wanted to make a donation, but was pleasantly surprised by your offer to buy a book.

I am partial to short stories so I bought your “A Nest of Flames” for a voluntary price of $5. It was only 99 cents, but I was so pleased with your plugin I wanted to add a donation as well. I will read your ebook. If I like it then I might by another on Amazon and write a nice review. Thank you very much.

Thank you for sharing about your Science Fiction book. Should be a good read.

  8. No problem. I don’t mind a few typos as long as there’s a good story. The typos will be our little secret (along with the readers of this blog 🙂

  9. Keith says:

Just don’t mention all the typos. I’m no better a writer than I am a programmer. The book seems to have a lot of bugs, and since I sell only 3 or 4 a month, it doesn’t seem worth fixing them.

  10. Hello Keith, I have been using your Stop Spammers plugin long enough to know it works like a charm. Thank you! I just rated your plugin on WP with 5 stars and bought your Error Msg Eyes book on Amazon. I’ll rate that when I’m done with it. Thanks again!

    Hi Kevin,

I bought “Error Message Eyes” and had it delivered to my pc, instead of my phone, boo. I just downloaded your blocker, too, thanks for doing that.

Nice to see you’re making honey in West Nyack. I’m in Nanuet and am a writer as well. My published book is called “The Word Gang” also 99 cents, and my new one is sci-fi and called “The Borzoi Suite.” That’s in the advance reading stage, if you’re interested let me know.

Good luck with your writing. Mark

Then I shall buy the books and list your links on an appropriate site. 🙂

  13. Keith says:

Just buy the book, or rate the plugin, or give one of my sites a “follow” link – I make no money at this. If it was not interesting and fun, I would not do it.

    Thanks,

    Keith

Left a comment on WordPress as well. Excellent plugin and deserves more than $1. Pleas put a PayPal Donate Button in the Permalink Finder Plugin or send me a a PayPal email address to donate to. Saved me hours of work.

I see that you tried logged in and not logged in. (Sorry, I read the comment too fast).

The reason that nobody buys the book is because it is probably not a book that most people want to read. I am not famous or popular. I sell two or three a month.

I am using firefox and I get all the screens correctly.

I am going to put new links to the book page and see if I get more orders.

    Thanks,

    Keith

Do you have an Amazon account? Maybe you are not logged in. It just now tried to buy the book and it took me all the way to the point where it needed a credit card.

Hi Keith, I’m trying to buy the Kindle version error message eyes and it takes me to Amazon and it shows the information for the story and the button to continue but there is no button to add it to my cart.

    it says the following:
    Add to Shopping Cart
Please confirm that you want to add the item(s) listed below to your cart.

    Item Price Qty
    Error Message Eyes $0.99 1

after this last line it has a button that says continue which I click and it takes me to a new page that says my cart is empty.
I also tried this with the frog story and got the same result my cart stays empty. I would say that you need to check out what Amazon has done. The first time I was not logged in so I logged into my Amazon account and went back and did it again and got the same results.

I would say there’s a problem with the code on your site not delivering the information to the Amazon site. I’m currently using chrome current version.
I also tried it using Internet explorer version 9 64-bit and got the same result with both myself logged out and logged in.
I’m not sure what the issue is that it’s not acknowledging that the card should have one in it so it stays empty.this might be why you’re not getting too many book orders.
Just so you know I clicked the order of book and that worked fine so it’s the code in the candles that you need to look at.
