I noticed that my plugins show a WordPress installation date of 2.9 and earlier. Most of my plugins are stable and don’t need updating. I don’t have any new features to add or bugs to fix. Should I update them just to show that they work with the latest release of WordPress. The only thing this will do is increase my downloads and my overall position on the list of most popular plugins.
My style has changed and I’ve learned new tricks, so I will redo parts of the plugins, but since they are working, I may introduce bugs when I fiddle with the code. It is an interesting problem. To update or not to update?
