The last time I looked at my 1&1 logs blogseye had 92% 503 errors. This is not acceptable. I think most of them were the result of a DOS attack on my site on March 25th. CloudFlare handled most of that, but I think that 1and1 just crashed my site for a while.
SiteGround is supposed to be optimized for WordPress. It came out best for WordPress in a couple of recent shootouts, so I decided to go for the $7.95 deal and host a couple of websites there. I loose money on my site www.Harptab.com due to it crashing under stress. If the Blogseye domain stays up I’ll start moving all of the sites over.
SiteGround uses CPANEL. I like CPANEL, but I have been away from it for a while and I can’t find things easily, like the IP address of my websites. I am using cloudflare, but SiteGround lets you incorporate cloudflare into the hosting. I have to ponder this and decide whether it is better to stick with my cloudflare account or manage it through cpanel.
Keith, I’ve been using your anti spam plugin for years and I am offering hosting (mostly for my own clients whose websites I have designed only) but if you’d like, I can sponsor some hosting on my own server if you’re interested.
WP optimized, I don’T even host anything else except WP. Shoot me an email if you’re interested.
