I got a Kindle for Christmas from my sister-in-law. I wrote a Kindle-This widget which should send a blog page to my kindle. I can’t see if it worked until I get home.
It will be an interesting experiment.

Sorry, this is a double post…I posted in your About page by accident:
Nice work on your Kindle-This widget.
Is there a way to automate the widget to send me the post at a certain time everyday?
Thanks,
David
When you use the plugin you should receive an email from kindle when it is done. Just open the AZW file with kindle for PC.
I think that Amazon will update the kindle for pc through the network. I don’t see, however, where amazon show you your kindle email address on kindle for PC. You may have to go to https://kindle.com in order to set that.

Is there going to be a version for ‘Kindle for PC’ users?
thanks
btw…I sent a reply earlier, but don’t see it so am trying again:-)

Thanks for doing this plugin; is a great idea.
Are there any plans to release a version for the ‘Kindle for PC’? Users of this product don’t have a ‘user id @ free.kindle.com’ so this version won’t work for them. TY:-)
The 1.0 version had a bug. Please upgrade to 1.1. The widget asks for the Amazon email id and the from id. It uses the WPMailer to send a copy of the page to kindle so it winds up on the device.

@Keith: this is a brilliant idea for a widget. Thank you!
Also, I am stupid. I looked through the code but I don’t know php well enough to know what to look for. How does the plug-in email the articles? Is it using the blog’s own email settings, or something else? +how can I confirm this for myself when looking at the code?
Sorry, I left in some debug code that worked on my test site, but broke on other sites. 1.1 is released and is working. I was in a rush last night to release it. It was my fault.
You have to fill out the two fields in the form so it knows who to send it to.

Doesn’t work — “no from address specified for Kindle This widget”.
Awesome idea though, and I would love to use it!
